Terry Cunningham
I was born and raised in Anderson county as was my wife Donna. We have three children
and seven
grandchildren. I have lived in Lawrenceburg most of my life, being raised on a farm in the
western part
of the county. Having been a part of this community for the better part of
our lives, my family
and I feel that we are blessed with one of the best school systems
in the
state. We attend Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church. In our free time, we
enjoy getting on
our motorcycle and taking a ride on the back roads, fishing or
attending sporting
events.
I worked at IBM where I was a technician in the tool room. I then had my own
cattle buying business where I had to travel all over the state to purchase and
ship cattle.
I enjoyed these jobs, but nothing has given me the self satisfaction that helping
people in the sale and purchase of their property has. I really enjoy meeting new
people. They are not only clients to me, but I hope that they can become life-long
friends in the process.
These are the set of values that are important to me:
• LIVE BY THE “GET BY GIVING” PHILOSOPHY
• MAKE MY CLIENT’S #1 GOAL MY #1 GOAL
• LIVE UP TO MY STANDARDS DESPITE TEMPTATIONS TO
LOWER
THEM
• BE WILLING TO WORK TOWARD A COMMON GOOD
• DO WHAT I SAY I WILL DO, SOMETIMES MORE,
JUST NEVER LESS
